Bahram Khodaei introduction

Bahram Khodaei is an Iranian entrepreneur and manager of several well-known Turkish-style food brands, best recognized as the founder of the Hur restaurant chain in Urmia. Born in a rural border area near Urmia, he spent his early childhood there before relocating to the city with his family, which marked the beginning of his journey toward building a professional career in the food and hospitality industry.

Early Life

Khodaei grew up in a border village and, after completing elementary education, moved to the city. Due to financial pressures, he entered the workforce at a young age while continuing his schooling. His first job was in a small sandwich shop, where he carried much of his family’s financial responsibility. These circumstances led him to leave formal education early and work double shifts to support the household.

Military Service

In 2011, he completed his military service in the medical corps of the Arfian IRGC base in Urmia. This period was a turning point in shaping his future career decisions.

Career

After military service, Khodaei worked at Band Recreation Complex and Noushan Restaurant, gaining extensive experience in the regional food industry. Collaborating with notable Kurdish chefs from Turkey, he helped establish one of the first Turkish-style restaurant models in Urmia. This success led to the opening of multiple Turkish-inspired dining establishments across the city under his management.

Today, the Hur brand operates three active branches in Urmia and is recognized as one of the leading Turkish-style restaurant groups in Iran. Khodaei is widely known for his modern management approach, emphasis on quality, and efforts to elevate food service standards in the region.

Hur Spor Club

Beyond the food industry, Khodaei is the founder and director of the Hur Spor Cultural and Sports Club in Urmia, which supports athletic development, cultural activities, and youth engagement in the area.
